Will’s life is spinning out of control – an apartment fire has left him jumpy and traumatized, and his inability to let anyone in has left him lonely and cold.

Ben’s life has been stagnant since high school. He’s never had the money to leave town or follow his dreams, but settling into his job at the literacy center gives his life meaning and purpose. And if he’s had a string of crappy boyfriends, well, that’s just because his selection is the very definition of limited. He just doesn’t plan for one of them to become dangerous.

When Will’s grandfather passes away suddenly, Will is recalled home to safeguard the family interests and take care of his fragile mother. Seeing his best friend, Ben, again is a balm to his soul – and the solution to the problem of whether or not he can get his inheritance. Faking a marriage is the perfect answer to Ben’s stalker problem and Will’s inheritance clause. Only Will is straight – and Ben’s never been able to get over his childhood crush on his best friend.

Some typos, some name misplacements. The characters had good chemistry but the converted-gay trope was something of a stretch in this book. The side plot of Nick was also a little uneven. A fun read otherwise.
I really liked the story - if you can by pass the little errors ( the author needs a new editor ) . Good story line and interesting characters . Life isn't always roses and cute puppies it sucks sometimes . Loved the happy ending and it's not a cliffhanger .
The good It's a nice storyline. I at least was interested enough to want to continue reading it.
The bad The author's writing leaves a lot to be desired. Reading this book is a lot like listening to a monotone speaker deliver a speech. Nothing is well conveyed. Several times I found myself unable to understand the author's meaning or intent. Grammatical errors were plentiful. Things like to versus too, there versus their, and just random mis-spellings, incomplete thoughts and missing transitions. Maybe it's a first effort at writing.

The story is decent though.
